You'll work across the full software stack and collaborate cross-functionally to build flagship security systems. **On-site at HQ in San Mateo, CA required.** **What You'll Do** • Build scalable distributed systems handling high traffic from hundreds of thousands of devices • Work with Redis, DynamoDB, and Postgres databases • Work with Kafka and SQS for logging and message passing • Deploy services via Terraform and Kubernetes • Develop large-scale remote device interaction and configuration systems • Design low-latency, high-throughput microservice architectures • Develop features incorporating computer vision • Design clean APIs using Python and/or Go **What You Bring** • Ability to work on-site during winter or summer 2027 • Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science (graduating by June 2028) • Prior internship experience developing and launching products • Familiarity with Python or Golang, Distributed Systems, Operating Systems, AWS, Docker • Comfortable in agile team environments • REST APIs and Linux experience a plus **US Intern Benefits** • Competitive hourly wage ($55–$65 USD) + monthly housing stipend • Wellness/fitness and commuter benefits • Daily catered lunch, complimentary drinks, stocked snacks • Intern-exclusive events and cross-functional collaboration opportunities • Lunch & Learns with company executives and mentorship • Team-building activities and professional growth support **Additional Information** • Visa sponsorship available • Equal Opportunity Employer
