**Full Stack Software Engineer, Data Platform (Starlink)** **About the Role** Join SpaceX's Starlink program to build the world's most advanced broadband internet system. You'll develop a highly reliable, scalable enterprise data platform handling petabyte-scale data ingestion, processing, storage, and querying. **Key Responsibilities** • Develop enterprise data platform for petabyte-scale operations • Create end-to-end data pipelines improving business operations • Collaborate on architecture, design, and code reviews • Build prototypes to validate design concepts • Own all aspects of software engineering and product development • Apply first principles thinking to solve complex problems **Basic Qualifications** • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or related field (OR 2+ years professional software development experience) • 1+ years experience in full stack development, software engineering, data engineering, or data science **Preferred Skills** • Programming: Scala, Java, C#, Python, Go, or similar • Frontend: Angular, React, or similar JavaScript frameworks • Big data: Apache Kafka, Spark, Flink, or similar • Databases: Hive, Delta Lake, PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, or similar • Data tools: Grafana, Metabase, PowerBI, or similar • Version control, testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and deployment • Statistics, machine learning algorithms and frameworks **Compensation** Level I: $125,000 - $165,000/year Level II: $145,000 - $200,000/year *Plus stock options, bonuses, comprehensive benefits, 401(k), and 3+ weeks PTO* **Additional Requirements** • Willing to work extended hours and weekends when needed • ITAR eligible: U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee status required **Equal Opportunity Employer** | Merit-based hiring
