**Meet the future** Akoya is an API-based network backed by major financial institutions, creating a safer and more transparent way for people to share personal financial data with third-party financial apps. --- ## **The Role — Solution Architect** The Solution Architect is Akoya’s technical bridge between our network and customers building on top of it—spanning pre-sales through implementation, go-live, and ongoing support. You’ll work hands-on with customer engineering teams to demonstrate the product, scope integrations, configure authentication/SSO, and troubleshoot API issues, while building trusted relationships from developers to executives. ### **As a Solution Architect, you will:** **Pre-Sales & Solutioning** - Serve as the primary technical resource for prospective and new Akoya customers throughout the sales cycle - Deliver technical demos and proofs-of-concept tailored to customer use cases and existing stacks - Gather, document, and assess integration requirements and technical specifications with customer engineering teams - Build sample code, Postman collections, or lightweight integration prototypes to validate feasibility and de-risk deals - Recommend the right solution architecture and raise flags when proposed approaches won’t work **Implementation & Onboarding** - Own technical onboarding from contract signature through go-live - Configure and troubleshoot delegated authorization flows (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML) and SSO integrations with customer teams - Debug REST/JSON API integration issues using tools like Postman, curl, browser dev tools, and network/packet traces - Write and maintain integration guides, runbooks, and technical documentation - Run joint testing and troubleshooting sessions through go-live **Post-Sales & Support** - Handle escalated technical support issues with hands-on root-cause analysis across API, network, and authentication layers - Act as the customer’s technical advocate internally and relay feedback to Product and Engineering - Partner with Product Development to improve deployment ease, documentation, and self-serve tooling - Build and refine internal tools, scripts, and sample integrations to speed up future onboarding **Relationships & Communication** - Build trusted technical relationships with engineering leads, architects, and decision-makers - Present technical concepts clearly to both technical and executive audiences - Travel occasionally to customer sites, conferences, or partner meetings --- ## **Required Experience & Skills** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience) - Proficiency in **Go**, with working exposure to **JavaScript (Node.js)**, **Python**, or **Java**; comfortable writing/debugging real integration code and performing code reviews - Deep, hands-on knowledge of **RESTful JSON APIs** (designing, testing, troubleshooting) - Hands-on experience implementing/troubleshooting delegated authorization frameworks (**OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML**) including configuring SSO - Strong understanding of how the internet works under the hood: **DNS, proxies, firewalls, load balancers, CDNs, TLS/certificates** - Exceptional communication; able to switch between whiteboard-level detail and executive framing - Strong troubleshooting instincts and a bias toward hands-on diagnosis - Comfortable being client-facing, including raising concerns when a customer’s direction won’t work - Flexibility to travel occasionally --- ## **Preferred E
