The Elastic Search AI Platform is used by more than 50% of the Fortune 500. **The Role** We're seeking a Lead Salesforce Engineer who combines deep architectural intuition, clean coding, and sharp debugging skills with an AI-native workflow. You'll dive into platforms like Salesforce and MuleSoft while owning end-to-end solutions that streamline critical revenue processes and scale platform architecture. **What You'll Be Doing** • Design and ship full-stack features end-to-end (UI, APIs, business logic, data models, integrations) • Build modern frontend experiences and robust backend services with solid design principles • Leverage AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, etc.) throughout the SDLC • Design and implement integrations using REST APIs and event-driven patterns • Develop using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and Flows • Explore agentic and AI-powered features for business process automation • Own features through full lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, and support • Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, and code reviews **What You Bring** • 10+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline • Proficiency in modern frontend (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS) and backend development • Daily hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools • Strong software design patterns, SDLC, Agile, Git, and CI/CD knowledge • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills **Bonus Points** • True engineering fundamentals: architecture, clean code, debugging • AI-native approach to development across the full stack • Comfortable quickly learning new platforms (Salesforce, MuleSoft) • Strong ownership mindset and commitment to quality • Excited about applying AI to real business problems **Compensation** Base salary range: $113,100 – $178,900 USD (higher ranges apply in select locations: Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, San Francisco Bay Area CA, NYC Metro Area) **Benefits** • Competitive pay based on work performed • Health coverage for you and family • Flexible locations and schedules • Generous vacation days • Up to $2,000 annual donation matching • 40 hours/year volunteer time • Minimum 16 weeks parental leave • 401(k) matching up to 6% • Stock program eligibility Elastic is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive culture.
