**Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Security and Data Systems** **About the Role** Join Okta as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer focused on building and maintaining highly reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure for our security SaaS platform. This role blends software engineering with systems administration, requiring you to automate processes, solve complex problems proactively, and participate in on-call incident response. **Key Responsibilities** • **Platform & Reliability** - Design and maintain core infrastructure for security SaaS offerings, including Snowflake data systems • **Automation** - Develop robust automation using code to eliminate toil and ensure consistency across environments • **Security & Compliance** - Embed security-first practices into all processes and infrastructure • **Incident Response** - Participate in on-call rotations and lead root cause analysis • **Collaboration** - Partner with development, data science, and security teams on architectural decisions **Required Skills & Experience** • Strong production-level coding skills • Deep experience with **Terraform** for Infrastructure as Code • Familiarity with **Spinnaker** and modern CI/CD practices • Expertise in **Kubernetes** and container orchestration • Experience with database migration tools like **Flyway** • Direct experience with **Snowflake** data systems • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills **Nice to Have** • AI/ML experience or interest in AIOps and predictive analysis **Compensation & Location** Base Salary Range (CA, CO, IL, NY, WA): $147,000 - $202,400 USD Hybrid role with in-person onboarding required in Toronto, Canada during first week **Benefits** Equity, bonus, health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending, and paid leave
