**Staff Software Engineer, Data Warehouse Foundation** **About the Role:** Join Pinterest's Data Product Platform team to provide technical leadership on mission-critical data infrastructure. You'll shape the vision and drive execution of solutions handling exadata-scale data warehouses and agentic analytical tools. **What You'll Do:** • Define and design Pinterest's data warehouse architecture, storage, and access patterns • Lead ambiguous, highly challenging cross-functional initiatives across data warehouse and agentic analytics domains • Mentor engineers and elevate technical standards on complex design and execution strategies • Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams to drive alignment and progress **What We're Looking For:** • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 8+ years of industry experience with large-scale data warehouses, data tools, and platforms • 5+ years building data warehouses and ecosystem tools (Spark, Trino, Flink, Airflow, Querybook, Superset, DataHub, etc.) • Cross-functional collaboration experience across multiple organizations • Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, etc.) • Experience building AI tools and platforms to accelerate data pipeline authoring and analytics productivity **Compensation & Location:** 💰 $177,185 – $364,795 USD (US-based applicants only) 📍 Remote-eligible; in-office 1-2 times/quarter 🚫 Relocation assistance not available **Equal Opportunity Employer:** Pinterest considers all qualified applicants regardless of protected characteristics.
