We invest in talented, opinionated, passionate, and inclusive team members who live our values every day. **The Role** The Storage Team is the backbone of our platform, responsible for performance, reliability, and scalability of storing and querying billions of events. You'll design and own architecture powering correct query results across all product experiences. **What You'll Do** • Build high-quality solutions for query and data storage infrastructure • Scope and deliver complex projects independently, end-to-end • Collaborate with Product and cross-functional engineering teams • Participate in on-call rotations and own production support • Explore new technologies and optimization strategies at scale • Mentor teammates and drive knowledge sharing **What You'll Bring** • Technical leadership in storage and querying systems • Expertise in Go and experience with high-throughput systems • Database engineering experience (database engineering and Kubernetes experience a plus) • Strong debugging and incident analysis skills • Focus on business outcomes and customer impact • Mentorship and collaboration strengths • Ability to influence beyond your team **Benefits** • Generous equity with employee-friendly stock program • Transparent, level-based pay • Unlimited PTO • Home office, co-working, and internet stipend • Full benefits coverage for employees and dependents • Up to 16 weeks paid parental leave • Annual development allowance **Note:** Currently unable to sponsor visa transfers.
