We're the financial technology platform of choice, engineered for ambition. **The Role** Lead a team in our Issuing organization, which enables businesses to monetize spend through fast, secure, and efficient payment solutions via digital and physical card issuance. You'll influence vision and strategy, own the roadmap from early build to scaled adoption, and work across engineering, product, commercial, and operations. **What You'll Do** • Drive the technical roadmap for establishing an issuing program construct • Build and shape a new engineering team from the ground up • Act as technical authority and domain expert for banking products • Coach, mentor, and develop high-performing engineers • Manage project timelines while addressing technical debt • Maintain strong product mindset and understand client needs **Who You Are** • 2+ years of people management experience with proven ability to build high-performance teams • FinTech domain expertise (Issuing/Banking) or experience managing critical global products at scale • High technical bar with knowledge of API-based financial services; comfortable with Java, Postgres, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elastic • Strong execution, communication, and stakeholder management skills • Proven ability to lead complex cross-team projects with external partners • Deep care for customer experience **Compensation & Details** Annual base salary: $180,000 - $243,000 in Chicago, plus RSUs **Location:** Chicago-based **Work Authorization:** Must be authorized to work in the US without new visa sponsorship
