## Design Engineer **Integration meets Innovation** At Celigo, we believe integration should empower - not exhaust - innovation. Celigo is looking for a **Design Engineer** to close the gap between design intent and production reality. This is the first Design Engineer seat at Celigo, offering real ownership from day one. ### What You'll Do - Maintain and evolve our production-ready React component library and design system - Prototype complex interactions and animation behaviors in code - Build AI-assisted workflows and encode judgment into reusable skills - Enable the whole UX team through better ways of working and tooling - Partner with Product Designers, Content Designers, and Product Managers - Define interaction states and usage guidelines for consistent implementation - Maintain Figma and React component libraries in sync using atomic design principles - Review front-end PRs for design fidelity and WCAG 2.1 AA compliance - Identify and solve recurring friction between design and engineering - Participate in design critiques and content workflows as a practitioner peer ### Who We're Looking For **Skills & Abilities:** - Strong React, TypeScript, and modern CSS with UI layer depth - Expert-level Figma skills including component libraries and design tokens - Design systems expertise grounded in component-driven architecture - UX Designer sensibilities: interaction design, visual hierarchy, usability - Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and workflow automation - Owner's mindset with clear line from work to outcomes - Strong communication and cross-functional influence **Experience:** - 7+ years building web interfaces (depth over years) - Working knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards - Track record collaborating with design and content teams - Portfolio demonstrating both design sensibility and code quality **Nice to Have:** - Figma Variables and design token pipeline experience - Component documentation systems (e.g., Storybook) - iPaaS or B2B product background - Degree in CS, HCI, or related field ### Compensation & Culture **Base Salary:** $150,000 - $190,000/year **Why Celigo:** - 2025 Gartner Customers' Choice for iPaaS (only vendor to receive this award) - Visionary in Gartner Magic Quadrant for iPaaS (2nd consecutive year) - #1 iPaaS on G2 - Remote-first, trust-based culture - High-growth, inclusive environment - Continuous learning opportunities
