**Lead Python Engineer / Developer - Associate** **About the Role** Associate Python Developer position with the Core Operations Technology team. Build scalable, high-performance applications while collaborating with senior developers and cross-functional teams. **Responsibilities** • Develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and scripts • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices • Debug and resolve issues in existing code • Collaborate on code reviews, design discussions, and agile development • Develop REST APIs, web services, and data processing pipelines • Write unit tests and automated test cases • Support third-party library and API integration • Maintain version control with Git and follow CI/CD practices • Work with Lambda functions for serverless computing • Manage AWS S3 buckets for file storage and retrieval • Stay updated with emerging technologies **Qualifications** • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 1-2 years Python development experience (Playwright, Selenium, REST APIs, JSON, Git) • SQL and database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL) • Linux/Unix environment experience • Web frameworks: Flask or Django • AWS services experience (Lambda, S3, serverless development) • Testing frameworks: pytest, unittest • Docker, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Agile methodologies • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills **Compensation & Benefits** 💰 Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 📦 Equity, annual performance bonus, matched retirement plan 🏥 100% employer-paid dental, vision, telemedicine, mental health counseling 👨👩👧 Parental leave, unlimited PTO 🏢 Office Monday-Thursday, remote flexibility on Friday **Equal Opportunity Employer**
