As an **IT Manager**, you’ll own the evaluation, deployment, and operationalization of tools and technologies that enable teams across Bitwarden to excel. You’ll manage digital and physical assets, support procurement of new tools and technologies, and help with cloud infrastructure, security, compliance, and community technology evangelization. **Location / Work Model** - **All-remote** - **Based in the U.S.** - **No visa sponsorship** at this time --- ## Responsibilities - Own the **digital employee onboarding** experience (equipment orders and management, account setup, provisioning) - Manage **software and hardware vendors**: research, sourcing, and procurement - Maintain the **global inventory** of laptops and licensed software - Be the go-to person for **access, configuration, and support** of company tools (SaaS and deployed systems) - Assist with the **management and transformation** of cloud infrastructure and networks - Manage **VPNs** and other restricted access systems - Assist with **business and technology experiments** involving new technologies, tools, processes, and techniques - Help manage and improve **compliance frameworks and certifications** (e.g., **SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR**) - Contribute to Bitwarden’s presence in the **SecOps community** via forums, conferences, articles, and customer support ## What You Bring to Bitwarden - Experience managing equipment and software across a **distributed, remote, decentralized** workforce - Experience implementing and refining **IT and security compliance frameworks** - Ability to maintain discretion and handle **sensitive information** with strong security best practices - A technocrat mindset—staying current with trends and new technologies - Collaborative, adaptable mindset - Openness and authenticity with excellent communication skills - Enthusiasm for **open source** and better internet security - Strong problem-solving skills (find and communicate solutions) ## Nice-to-Haves - User of **Bitwarden** - Experience rolling out and supporting **MDM** across **macOS, iOS, Windows, and Android** - **Azure** and cloud infrastructure best practices (operations, monitoring, maintenance) ## Interview Process - Meeting with Recruiting team - Interview with Head of Information Security - Interview with the team ## A Few Reasons to Work With Us - Purpose-driven work helping build a more secure internet experience - Become an expert through immersion in security and open source technology - Work remotely with motivated, supportive teammates worldwide - Learn and grow with ongoing development opportunities (including the **#growth-club**)
