We're on a mission to help enterprises transform expert knowledge into specialized AI at scale. **The Role** We're seeking a hands-on, builder-minded Technical Compliance Analyst to serve as the operational engine behind our Trust & Security program. You'll maintain our SOC 2 Type II posture, drive our second entity from Type I to Type II, and act as the bridge between compliance requirements and engineering & delivery execution. This is not a "compliance cop" role—we practice "Yes, if..." security. **Key Responsibilities** **Powering Customer Trust & Revenue Enablement** • Draft accurate responses to RFPs, security questionnaires (CAIQ, SIG, custom risk assessments) • Own the "Library of Truth"—a pristine repository of pre-vetted security evidence and policy documents • Provide technical depth on AWS KMS encryption, logging pipelines, IAM, and other infrastructure concerns **Building Compliance into the DNA** • Partner with IT, Security, Product, Engineering, and Delivery early in development • Write and operationalize security policies that accelerate delivery • Automate policy enforcement in CI/CD pipelines • Conduct compliance enablement sessions with engineering teams **Operational GRC & Audit Excellence** • Drive end-to-end SOC 2 Type I and Type II audit cycles • Power-user of modern GRC stack (Vanta, Drata) • Execute quarterly User Access Reviews, security awareness training, phishing simulations • Build and maintain compliance dashboards and KPIs **Future Federal & Supply Chain Roadmap** • Align controls with NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171 Rev 3, FedRAMP, and CMMC 2.0 • Own third-party vendor review process • Support security incidents with audit-relevant evidence preservation **Who You Are** • 2-5 years of experience in technical compliance, IT audit, or GRC in SaaS/startup environments • Proven SOC 2 Type I and Type II audit experience with IT General Controls expertise • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), IAM, CI/CD, encryption, vulnerability management • Experience with Vanta, Drata, Jira, KnowBe4 • Business enabler mindset—you practice "Yes, if..." security • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills **Why Join Us?** • Direct revenue impact—your work closes enterprise deals faster • Be a builder, not a bureaucrat—automate and scale compliance programs • Modern, automated tooling—no manual spreadsheet tracking • Future-proof career growth—gain hands-on exposure to federal-ready transformation (FedRAMP/CMMC) **Compensation** $120,000 – $185,000 USD (based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location) **Equal Opportunity** Snorkel AI is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer committed to building a diverse team and providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
