**Technical Support Engineer** [Prismatic](https://prismatic.io/) is the integration platform that helps B2B software companies build integrations fast and deliver them at scale—turning integrations from a bottleneck into a growth driver. ## About the role We’re looking for a **Technical Support Engineer** to join a **fully remote** team focused on delivering the best possible **support and onboarding experience** for both technical and non-technical customers. You’ll help customers **build and troubleshoot integrations** with third-party apps, triage issues, and provide clear guidance and best practices using the Prismatic platform. Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll represent Prismatic to customers and share insights with internal Engineering teams. ## What you will do - Drive an exceptional customer experience - Triage and prioritize customer issues and proposed product features - Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Account Management to resolve complex customer issues - Answer customer questions and provide clear guidance on building integrations with Prismatic - Help customers troubleshoot integration challenges (e.g., debugging API requests, authentication issues, and data formatting) - Help users understand and navigate Prismatic’s low-code tools and developer features - Identify, gather data, and communicate customer trends to internal teams - Collaborate with a customer-obsessed team to solve new problems every day ## About you - **3+ years** experience in technical support or engineering - Understand API mechanics: **REST, GraphQL, SOAP** - Understand authentication mechanics: **OAuth 2.0** and **JWT** - Familiar with data formats: **JSON, XML, YAML, CSV** - Comfortable reading/debugging small code snippets (especially **JavaScript, Node.js, or TypeScript**); writing code is a plus - Positive attitude and solution-oriented mindset ## Bonus if you have experience with - Moderate to strong proficiency in **JavaScript / Node.js** - Experience building integrations with a variety of APIs and vendors - Some of the following: - OAuth 2.0 auth code and client credential flows - Webhooks - Low-code flow builders ## Pay range - **$85,000 - $105,000/year + equity** ## Life at Prismatic (high level) **Values** - **Give a Shit** - **Progress Over Perfection** - **Same Team** **What to expect** - Urgency, ownership, and high standards - Highly engaged, customer-obsessed team - Sustainability-focused benefits **Benefits** - 🏡 **Remote work** across the US (travel together **2x/year**) - 🏖️ **Unlimited PTO** - 🏥 **Medical, dental & vision** - 🛡️ **Life insurance** + disability coverage - 🏦 **401(k)** with company match - 💻 Equipment + **$1k** new hire setup stipend **Ready to help turn integrations into growth drivers?** If this role excites you but you don’t check every box, **apply anyway**—we consider every application thoughtfully.
