In this role, you’ll be a hands-on owner of our **hybrid network**, spanning: - Physical office environments - Distributed sites - **AWS cloud connectivity** Day-to-day work is rooted in physical infrastructure, including: - **Meraki** switches and access points - **Palo Alto** firewalls - **Starlink** and ISP connectivity - **Site-to-site VPN** - Routing and switching that keeps offices, warehouses, and remote sites online You’ll also own the **AWS networking layer** connecting the physical footprint to cloud workloads, and automate changes using **infrastructure-as-code** (so deployments are repeatable, reviewable, and reliable). This is for an engineer who’s comfortable across the network stack—able to troubleshoot real-world issues (e.g., switch stack problems, wireless deployments, BGP sessions) and then write **Terraform** to prevent repeat incidents. ## What You’ll Do ### Network Infrastructure - Manage, monitor, and maintain office, site, and distributed network infrastructure (Meraki switches/APs, Palo Alto firewalls, Starlink links, ISP connections, site-to-site VPN) - Design and deploy office and site networks: switching, routing, VLAN segmentation, wireless coverage, and secure remote connectivity - Tune wireless deployments: RF planning, capacity modeling, channel optimization, and troubleshoot roaming/interference issues - Configure and harden Palo Alto firewalls and VPN: security policies, NAT, IPSec tunnels, Global Protect, and Panorama-based centralized management - Troubleshoot complex Layer 1 through Layer 7 issues across physical and logical stacks using tools such as **Wireshark**, **tcpdump**, **ThousandEyes**, **Fiddler**, **nmap**, and other diagnostics
