**Software Engineering Intern (2027 Start) – Winter (Jan–Apr)** Databricks is passionate about helping data teams solve the world’s toughest problems by building and running the world’s best data and AI infrastructure platform. As a **Software Engineering Intern**, you’ll join a team of engineers to build features that contribute directly to the Databricks platform. You’ll have a dedicated mentor and will join our **2027 intern cohort**, connecting with engineers, other interns, and leaders across the company. **Where you’ll work** - We’re hiring across multiple offices. Please apply for the **single location** you’re most interested in. - We can only consider **one application in 30 days**. **The impact you will have** - Work with a team to build features for the Databricks platform - Manage your project end-to-end (design, code, and feedback) - Learn how to build a platform that scales quickly while maintaining quality and security **What we look for** - You will graduate in **fall 2027 or spring 2028** with a degree in **Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject** - Implementation skills in a general-purpose language such as **Python, Java, or C++** - Good knowledge of **algorithms, data structures, and OOP principles** - Excitement to solve ambiguous problems with a collaborative team **Important** - This application is **ONLY for Winter 2027 (January–April)**. Please do **not** apply if you’re looking for **Summer or Fall**. **Pay (Hourly Rate Transparency)** - **SF Bay Area:** $54–$60 USD/hr - **Bellevue, Washington:** $51.50–$60 USD/hr *Databricks may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits (varies by region).*
