About this role
**Who we are (Bridge)** Bridge is building a new payments platform powered by stablecoins to make global money movement simpler, faster, and more accessible. Through our APIs, businesses can send and receive funds across borders, give customers access to dollars through virtual accounts, and disburse USD globally. We believe stablecoin rails will become a foundational part of financial infrastructure—moving and settling trillions of dollars worldwide. Our team has built financial infrastructure at companies including Coinbase, Stripe, Square, Brex, Upstart, DoorDash, and Airbnb. --- **What you’ll do** - Build and ship end-to-end product experiences across frontend applications, backend services, APIs, and data systems. - Design reliable, performant, and intuitive interfaces for developers, operations teams, and end users. - Develop and maintain APIs and backend systems that power global payments, virtual accounts, and payouts. - Own projects from technical design through launch and iteration, often with substantial autonomy and without dedicated product management support. - Debug and resolve production issues across the stack, with a focus on reliability, performance, and customer impact. - Make thoughtful tradeoffs among business priorities, user experience, speed of execution, and long-term technical quality. --- **Who you are** We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements. Preferred qualifications are a bonus. **Minimum requirements** - 6+ years of professional software-engineering experience (open to a range of seniority). - Experience building and shipping production software across both frontend and backend systems. - Strong experience with backend services, SQL databases, and API design. - Experience building polished, maintainable web applications and collaborating closely on product and UX decisions. - Strong sense of ownership; ability to lead technical projects and influence product direction. - Ability to write modular, well-tested, maintainable code while staying pragmatic and moving quickly. - Comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and diving into unfamiliar problem spaces. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clear technical documentation. - Curiosity, sound judgment, and commitment to continuously improving the product for partners and end users. **Preferred qualifications** - Experience building developer-facing API products or platforms. - Experience with financial infrastructure, payments, money movement, or other regulated products. - Interest in or experience with stablecoins, blockchain systems, or distributed systems. - Experience designing systems requiring high reliability, strong security controls, and careful operational discipline.
