CoreWeave delivers the platform, technology, tools, and teams that enable innovators to build and scale AI with confidence. --- ## What You’ll Do CoreWeave’s **Fleet Engineering** organization owns the lifecycle of every server in our cloud—**provisioning, health, availability, and repair** across every cluster and region. You and your team will design, build, and own the tooling for every human interaction with the fleet, aiming to make each action clear, simple, and friction-free while collecting fault metrics that drive continuous improvement across the cloud stack. --- ## About the Role You’ll lead a full-stack team building **Go backend services** and **React/TypeScript frontends** for workflow-heavy, data-dense products used by real people on the data center floor. Your users include **data center technicians, operations engineers, technical program managers, and inventory specialists**. You’ll own delivery—**scope, release cadence, quality, and responsiveness**—and help your team make sound tradeoffs through **design reviews** and **architecture pressure-testing**. --- ## In this role, you will: - **Lead and grow** the team through hiring, onboarding, career development, and performance management. - **Own delivery end to end**: gather/refine requirements, define scope, and set predictable release cadences. - **Drive reliability and performance** via observability, on-call operations, incident response, runbook development, and automated remediation. - **Maintain and enhance** existing products by soliciting user feedback and prioritizing fixes. - **Scope and lead new product development** to increase efficiency and scale of fleet management. - **Set technical direction** through design and architecture reviews (API contracts, data modeling, frontend architecture). - **Partner** with peer Fleet Engineering teams and operations leadership on shared APIs, sources of truth, and cross-team dependencies. --- ## Who You Are - **8+ years** professional software engineering experience, including **4+ years** managing full-stack teams shipping and operating production web applications. - Frontend: **TypeScript/React (or comparable)** - Backend: **Go (or another compiled service language)** - Proven track record delivering software to defined stakeholders and users (requirements, scoping, prioritization, release planning, predictable delivery). - Experience owning production web services end to end (performance under load, availability targets, on-call, incident response). - Technical depth to lead design/architecture reviews and evaluate tradeoffs across API contracts, data modeling, state management, scaling, security, and audit trails. - Experience hiring, mentoring, and managing engineer performance (growing engineers into senior/lead roles). - Strong process mindset; ability to document, scale, and optimize complex workflows. - Excellent cross-functional communication with comfort influencing non-engineering stakeholders and senior leadership. - Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Engineering (or equivalent practical experience). --- ## Preferred - Experience delivering **internal tools/workflow products/field-service platforms** used daily by operational teams. - Experience with **third-party/vendor API integrations** (e.g., Jira, vendor support portals). - Familiarity with **data center operations**, hardw
