We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. **About the Role** The Claude Platform is growing rapidly and serves developers and enterprises at scale. The Distribution team owns the transformation of making the Claude API a cloud-native, managed product that runs wherever customers need it, cross-cloud and on Anthropic's own infrastructure. **What You'll Do** • **Claude Platform on the Clouds**: Make Claude Platform a best-in-class offering on AWS, GCP, and Azure by bringing our API, control plane, and features through the provider's front door. Collaborate across Infrastructure, Systems, Networking, Databases, and Inference teams. • **Enterprise Readiness**: Ship next-gen enterprise enablement features including key management & encryption, audit APIs, usage visibility, access control, and international data residency. **You Might Be a Good Fit If You:** • Have 8+ years of practical experience as a backend or platform engineer building scalable distributed systems at tech lead level or equivalent • Take a product-focused approach to platform work • Own large-scale infrastructure systems and lead cross-team technical projects independently • Have cloud infrastructure experience (GCP, AWS, Azure) at scale and/or Enterprise SaaS experience in multi-tenant contexts • Take full ownership from design through deployment and operations • Are proficient in Python, Go, Rust, or similar systems languages **Compensation & Details** 💰 Annual Salary: $405,000 – $485,000 USD 📍 Location Preference: NY or Bay Area 🏢 Hybrid: At least 25% in office 📋 Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent ✅ Visa sponsorship available **Applications reviewed on a rolling basis.**
