**Software Engineer II, MLOps Framework** **About the Role** Own the pipelines that take models from research to production on edge hardware. You'll handle model conversion, compilation, benchmarking, and release for autonomous trucking applications. Work closely with perception and safety teams to ensure every model meets strict latency and accuracy requirements. **What You'll Do** • Architect and implement model conversion and compilation pipelines using ONNX, TensorRT, and torch.compile for edge devices (e.g., NVIDIA Orin) • Maintain and evolve the model release registry, ensuring traceability and reproducibility • Perform rigorous latency benchmarking and model quality parity evaluations • Compare metrics across platforms to verify accuracy and latency compliance before release • Collaborate with model development teams to translate findings into reliable outcomes **What You'll Need** • Bachelor's in CS, EE, Robotics, or related field + 4+ years experience (or Master's + 2+ years) • Extensive experience with model conversion pipelines (ONNX, TensorRT, torch.compile) • Hands-on experience deploying models on edge hardware (NVIDIA Orin or similar) • Production experience maintaining a model release registry • Ability to compare and interpret performance metrics across hardware platforms **Bonus Skills** • Model quantization (PTQ, QAT) and mixed-precision inference • Multi-target model releases across heterogeneous platforms • SOTA autonomous driving perception algorithms and multi-modal sensor fusion • C++ and/or CUDA kernel development **Benefits** • Competitive compensation with bonus and stock options • 100% paid medical, dental, and vision premiums • 401K with 6% employer match • Flexible schedule and generous paid vacation • AD+D and Life Insurance Torc is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
