They build secure software “factories” based on DoD reference designs and NIST frameworks for Cloud and DevSecOps, delivering solutions for DoD, healthcare, and civilian agencies. --- ### Position Overview Entry Level Software Engineer to support mission-critical personnel vetting software used across the Department of Defense. Work under senior engineers in a modern cloud-native DevSecOps environment. --- ### Key Responsibilities - Develop and unit-test application components under direction of senior engineers - Support CI/CD pipeline execution and monitor automated test results - Assist with bug triage, defect resolution, and regression testing - Document code and contribute to technical documentation and SOPs - Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint ceremonies, and PI planning events - Support deployment activities in development and test environments - Assist senior staff in maintaining RMF and security documentation --- ### Required Qualifications - **0–2 years** of software development experience (internships, academic projects, or professional work) - Working knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., **Java, Python, JavaScript**) - Basic understanding of **Git** and **agile** development practices - **Active DoD Secret clearance** at time of hire (U.S. Person) --- ### Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field - Exposure to cloud platforms (**AWS preferred**) - Academic/project experience with automated testing frameworks - Interest in federal IT, cybersecurity, or DevSecOps careers - DoD **8140/8570** baseline certification (**Security+**) a plus --- ### Benefits - Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision (healthcare benefits 100% employer-paid for employees) - Life Insurance - Paid Time Off (Flexible/Combined PTO, Bereavement Leave, **11** company-paid holidays) - 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match - Professional Development Training Reimbursement --- ### How to Apply Submit your application with your resume (PDF/DOC/DOCX/ODT/TXT/RTF; **max 5MB**).
