Built on Nobel Prize-winning innovations, Eikon's platform features groundbreaking microscopes enabling real-time, molecular-resolution measurements of protein movement in living cells. **The Role** You'll interface with biologists, chemists, microscopists, and optical/automation engineers to design and deploy computational solutions for exploring and quantifying high-content datasets. **What You'll Do** • Design and optimize algorithms and models for chemical property prediction, compound screening, and reaction optimization • Deploy computational chemistry tools into production pipeline environments with focus on scalability, reliability, and performance • Collaborate on computational chemistry pipelines to accelerate early drug discovery with simulation, modeling, and AI • Work with scientists and engineers to prototype and productionize software solutions • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with coordinated milestones and deadlines **Required Qualifications** • Bachelor's degree + 7 years relevant experience, Master's + 5 years, or PhD + 2+ years (Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent) • Strong background in machine learning, statistics, and data analysis • Proficiency in Python, C, C++, or similar languages • Experience with cheminformatics fundamentals (molecular representations, fingerprints, RDKit, OpenBabel) • Practical and theoretical understanding of computational chemistry methods (docking, MD, FEP, retrosynthetic prediction) • Problem-solving ability from prototype to production **Preferred Qualifications** • Strong Python expertise • Familiarity with biology and biological concepts at college freshman level
