Pinterest also uses AI thoughtfully, and the interview process emphasizes how you think and explain your approach. --- ## What you’ll do - **Deliver impactful features:** Design and implement full-stack, user-facing features. - **Own and guide the product lifecycle:** Contribute from brainstorming and prototyping through A/B testing and scalable implementation. - **Collaborate cross-functionally:** Partner with product, design, and backend teams to launch end-to-end solutions. - **Innovate as a user:** Use a Pinner’s perspective to suggest, prototype, and iterate on new ideas. - **Champion quality:** Use automated testing and best practices to deliver reliable, high-quality code from inception to release. - **Advance your skills:** Work with world-class peers on high-impact projects. - **Leverage AI thoughtfully:** Accelerate prototyping, outlining, synthesis, and automation—while maintaining critical evaluation. --- ## What we’re looking for - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) **or equivalent experience**. - **3+ years** of full-stack development experience building consumer or business-facing products. - Proficiency in one or more common backend/frontend stacks (e.g., **JavaScript, React, APIs, storage, caching, data processing**). - Experience writing **reliable, maintainable** code used by other engineers. - Ability to stay current with new technologies and determine what to adopt. - Strong **collaboration and communication** skills. - Demonstrated ability to use **AI** to improve speed and quality in day-to-day work. - Strong track record of **critical evaluation** of AI-assisted work (testing, verification, data validation, peer review). - High integrity and ownership: protect sensitive data, avoid over-reliance on AI, and remain accountable for final decisions. --- ## Relocation & In-Office Requirements - **No relocation assistance** for this position. - In-office collaboration **1–2 times every 6 months**; role can be situated anywhere in the country. --- ## Pay Transparency (US based applicants only) - **Base salary range:** **$123,696 – $254,667 USD** - Equity eligibility may apply.
