**Software Engineer II, Frontend Agentic AI** **About the Role** Build interfaces for autonomous AI workers. Own the chat experience, memory views, live run timelines, and approval flows. You'll define what agentic interfaces look like—most patterns you ship don't exist yet. Senior IC role requiring 5+ years relevant experience. **What You'll Build** • Conversational interfaces for long-horizon agents with streaming, tool calls, pause/interrupt, and mid-task steering • Memory management interfaces showing agent knowledge, editable memories, and context reasoning • Live agent run views with plans, steps, artifacts, retries, and real-time rendering • Human-in-the-loop approval surfaces with clear diffs for external system writes • Worker Builder interface for natural language digital worker design • Complex client state management for long-running sessions • Reusable component library for agentic patterns • Honest model output handling: citations, uncertainty, errors, and truthful empty states • Performance optimization for streaming thousands of events **What You Bring** • 3+ years front-end engineering with React, TypeScript, and modern state management • Production experience building chat, copilot, or LLM-powered interfaces • Real-time UI expertise: WebSockets, server-sent events, streaming, reconnection handling • Strong product sense and ability to design novel interaction patterns • LLM API integration and streamed/structured output handling • Fast, polished, responsive production code • Direct user collaboration and communication skills **Bonus Experience** • Shipped chat/agent products at scale • Agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph) and AI SDKs (Vercel AI SDK) • Design systems, accessibility, component library ownership • Complex visualization: timelines, graphs, workflow builders • High-growth venture-backed AI/SaaS startup background **Compensation & Location** San Francisco Bay Area: $140,000–$192,000 USD base + equity, bonus, and comprehensive benefits
