We've been recognized in the GovTech 100 every year since 2017. **The Role** Support Engineering is the technical layer between our government clients and our platform. You'll reproduce and diagnose bugs, dig through APIs and logs to find root causes, and turn findings into fixes and documentation. The work is technical, the stakes are real, and the impact is public. **What You'll Do** • Solve client issues by developing expertise in relevant product areas • Identify, reproduce, and document bugs for Engineering and Product teams • Create and maintain high-quality documentation for feature launches • Become a specialist in API and integration-related features • Provide fast, accurate communication to clients via email • Lead initiatives to continuously improve client support experience • Identify trends and process improvements across PayIt **What You'll Need** • Professional experience in customer support • Basic familiarity with at least one coding language • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Understanding of web services, JSON, and REST APIs • Basic SQL skills and ability to read logs • Curiosity about technology and problem-solving mindset • Strong teamwork and self-awareness • Resourcefulness and accountability **Compensation & Benefits** 💰 Annual Salary: $50,000 – $70,000 USD ✓ Competitive benefits and flexible working arrangements ✓ Mission-driven work impacting millions of residents ✓ Collaborative culture with growth opportunities ✓ Corporate volunteer program **Equal Opportunity** PayIt is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
