**LivePerson — SecOps Engineer I** **About the role** Join LivePerson’s Security Operations (SecOps) team to support security tool operations, triage alerts, investigate incidents, and help improve security posture across on-prem and cloud environments. **You will:** - Provide operational support for SecOps tool alerts, triaging, and maintenance. - Work with the SecOps team and other stakeholders to test and uncover vulnerabilities. - Assist with investigating cybersecurity incidents and investigations. - Monitor email and the ticketing system for security-related issues and follow through until resolved. - Troubleshoot problems with SecOps-owned tools and infrastructure (on-prem and cloud). - Support SecOps with documentation for SOPs, playbooks, and walkthroughs. - Stay up to date on adversary TTPs and general security events/news. **You should be an expert in:** - System security engineering or information security engineering. - Building and maintaining internal and external systems. - Operating system security across all platforms. - Cloud security, networking technologies, and monitoring tools. **What you’ll do (core responsibilities):** - Own IT/operations infrastructure areas to ensure performance and data confidentiality, integrity, and availability. - Document, monitor, and report on security systems and processes to ensure integrity, security, and availability. - Evaluate and select tools with teams to meet company needs. - Test, maintain, and challenge solutions to align with security best practices. - Partner with IT and System teams on hardening and configuration management for cloud and infrastructure tools. - Analyze transactional data, logs, and other outputs to identify malicious or anomalous activity. - Be available for on-call rotation. **You have:** - Hands-on experience with multi-cloud service environments. - Hands-on experience with GCP, Elastic, Okta, IDM, AD, Jamf, and Windows/Linux/macOS. - Experience responding to security incidents and performing log analysis. - At least 3 years of experience in IT/System teams in a SaaS/Cloud company. - Experience establishing procedures, reports, SLAs, and escalations. - Ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments. - Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. - Ability to communicate in English (speaking and writing). - Knowledge of Python/Go (big advantage). - Valid CompTIA CySA+ certificate. **Other requirements:** - Ability to support during US hours. - The role requires on-call duty. - Strong interpersonal skills and excellent English communication. - Critical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and task prioritization. **Benefits (high level):** - Health: medical, dental, and vision - Time away: 28 vacation days - Development: tuition reimbursement + internal professional development resources - Additional: food vouchers - Remote option: **#LI-Remote** **Security note (phishing awareness):** LivePerson warns of a phishing scam targeting candidates.
