The team is also driving Anduril toward becoming an autonomous enterprise—through initiatives like the **Autonomous Software Factory**, rethinking how software is built, tested, deployed, and evolved with AI integrated into the engineering lifecycle. ## About the Job The **Director of Site Reliability Engineering** owns the reliability system for the software that runs Anduril’s business and manufacturing operations. This role leads the SRE organization and partners with software engineering leaders to make **availability, resilience, performance, and production readiness** shared engineering outcomes. The mandate goes beyond responding well when systems fail: it’s to **reduce the frequency and impact of failure** through sound architecture, durable infrastructure, clear service ownership, and disciplined operating mechanisms. You will set the portfolio-wide reliability strategy, build the team and leadership structure required to execute it, and provide senior leaders with a clear view of operational risk and investment choices. ## What You’ll Do - Build and lead the Site Reliability Engineering organization (hiring, coaching, performance management, succession planning, and development of managers and senior technical leaders) - Own the reliability strategy for CorpTech Platform’s production portfolio, translating operational risk and business criticality into a sequenced roadmap of engineering and infrastructure investments - Establish shared accountability between SRE and software engineering via clear service ownership, SLOs, production-readiness standards, on-call expectations, and escalation mechanisms - Set direction for observability, deployment safety, incident management, capacity planning, resilience, and disaster recovery across business-critical systems and shared infrastructure - Partner with engineering, product, security, and business operations leaders to balance delivery speed, reliability, cost, and long-term platform health - Lead organizational response to critical incidents; ensure effective communication and decision-making under pressure; dri
