Every product must clear two bars: - **A value proposition or economics only possible because of crypto** - **Only buildable this fast because of AI** (from blank page to live product in ~3 months) --- **Role: Senior Full Stack Engineer (BitGo Labs)** You’ll be the engineering backbone of a product from **first commit to first customer**, working in a tiny team alongside a senior PM, the Head of Labs, and BitGo’s CEO. There’s **no separate frontend/backend/infra team**—you own the whole stack and move fast. --- **Responsibilities** - Take a spec and make the architecture decisions to ship in **~90 days** (choose boring tech on purpose) - Build the full product: **frontend, backend, data, deployment** - Integrate BitGo rails (custody, wallet, stablecoin, settlement) and use third-party vendors when buying beats building - Use **AI as a force multiplier** (and know when not to trust it) - Ship to real users, **instrument everything**, and keep iterating after launch - When products graduate or die, **hand off, wind down, or double down** and start the next one with what you learned --- **Who thrives here** - Someone who has built a product from nothing (startup/side project/true zero-to-one) - A genuinely full-stack engineer (**5+ years**): modern web frontend, API/service design, data modeling, cloud deployment - Someone who has made AI part of how they work (not just “tried Copilot”) - Comfortable with crypto (or able to get there quickly): wallets, stablecoins, and settlement as APIs - Someone who ships over polishes—especially where **security and money-handling** matter - Someone who can throw away their own code when a product is killed --- **Why Join BitGo?** - Competitive base salary, bonus, and stock options - **100% company-paid health insurance** for employee, partner, and dependents - Up to **4% 401k company match** - Paid parental leave and paid vacation - Free commuter/parking pass - Free custom lunches, dinners, and snacks - Computer equipment and workplace furniture to suit your needs - Great colleagues and an inspiring startup environment *Benefits may vary by location.* --- **Pay Transparency Notice** Depending on leveling and location, compensation averages between **$200,000 and $240,000 USD base salary**.
