Their discovery platform enables real-time, molecular-resolution measurements of protein movement in living cells—unlocking new drug target classes. **Position** We’re seeking an experienced Informatics Engineer to design, implement, and develop informatics processes and systems that support all phases of our research pipelines. You’ll partner with scientists and engineers to capture and manage functional requirements, and help build scalable, AI-enabled solutions that fit into our information ecosystem while ensuring the integrity of our data architecture. **About You** You communicate effectively, think agilely, and enjoy solving complex problems in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You can work independently with broad guidance, proactively identify needs with R&D leadership and scientists, make build-vs-buy decisions, coordinate pilot studies, ensure proper system usage, and report regularly on system metrics and portfolio execution. **What You’ll Do** - Administer, design, implement, integrate, develop, and test informatics solutions, including LIMS/ELN software (e.g., Dotmatics, CDD Vault), inventory management systems (e.g., Mosaic), and AI/ML platforms (e.g., Databricks) - Design, build, and deploy AI agentic tools and LLM-powered workflows to automate scientific data processes and accelerate research decisions - Implement data warehouse/data lake systems and ETL pipelines to support advanced analytics and AI/ML strategy - Build data automation pipelines and ETL processes to ingest, transform, and harmonize research data from multiple sources - Collaborate on an end-to-end digital architecture roadmap - Work with stakeholders to assess data management, access, analytics, and visualization needs across R&D functions - Gather user stories, design applications, implement and integrate systems, and guide IT system functionality across the company - Ensure systems are fully documented (requirements, architecture, operational plans) - Coordinate training and support for end-users on system usage and best practices - Participate in enterprise-wide data platform architecture and ensure systems adhere to it - Stay current on emerging technologies and trends in LIMS engineering, AI/ML platforms, and agentic systems **Qualifications** - BS + 5 years (or MS + 3 years) in computer science, life science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience - Experience with ELN/LIMS and scientific data management (e.g., compound registration, sample inventory, instrument data capture, assay results), such as Dotmatics and CDD Vault - Experience administering, implementing, and integrating AI/ML and data lake platforms (e.g., Databricks) - Hands-on experience building AI agentic workflows or LLM-integrated applications for real research/data problems - Software development and/or systems integration experience, preferably in a scientific/laboratory environment (especially drug development) - Programming/scripting/query languages and platforms such as Python, SQL, JavaScript (React), and Java - Experience with relational and non-relational data storage (e.g., key-value, document, SQL, graph databases) and optimizing storage approaches - Familiarity with Docker and con
