**Software Engineer — Creator Business (Roblox)** Roblox is building the tools and platform that empower creators to bring any experience they can imagine to life—connecting a billion people with optimism and civility. As a Software Engineer on the **Creator Business** team, you’ll help drive a healthy, ever-growing creator economy. The team focuses on monetization analytics, revenue reporting, payouts, and taxes—requiring penny-perfect accuracy and zero defects. In this role, you’ll build and own a scalable, secure, and reliable platform that helps creators thrive. You’ll partner with product and other engineering teams to shape end-to-end requirements and deliver projects with real impact and visibility. **What you’ll do** - Develop products and systems that delight users - Work with product, data science, and design to refine requirements - Contribute to or drive end-to-end system design - Push the boundaries of what’s next for the company - Help recruit future talent for the team **What you bring** - 1–3 years of experience in Software Engineering / Computer Science - Proficiency building and scaling data pipelines - Experience with distributed systems, API design, and microservices architecture - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field **Compensation & location (high level)** - HQ (San Mateo, CA) starting base pay range: **$153,120–$196,750 USD** (actual base pay depends on factors like experience, location, and market demand) - Full-time employees may also be eligible for equity compensation and benefits - Onsite schedule for office-based roles: **Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday** (optional Monday/Friday unless otherwise noted) **Equal opportunity** Roblox is an equal opportunity employer and provides reasonable accommodations during the recruiting process. *Note: US-based roles may have limitations related to certain visa categories and future H-1B sponsorship.*
