If you’re ready to seize opportunities and leave your mark, join a team focused on integrity, customer-first execution, and building the next generation of modern data platforms. --- **The Role** Portworx by Everpure is a cloud native platform enterprises depend on to reduce the cost and complexity of deploying containerized applications across multiple clouds and on-prem environments. It provides a single standard and data management layer for stateful services—helping teams modernize applications, delight developers, and respond to changing economic, regulatory, and business conditions. This architect role supports the “Kubernetes Everywhere” movement by delivering pre-sales deep technical and business expertise for customers running stateful applications in containers and automating “Day 2” data management workflows. --- **What You’ll Do** - Provide pre-sales deep technical and business expertise to customers - Help customers run stateful applications in containers - Automate “Day 2” data management workflows --- **What You Bring** - 5+ years’ experience as a customer-facing senior-level technical architect - Charismatic, confident self-starter with a track record of success with customers (and on stage) - Team-oriented leader who coaches and drives outcomes through influence - 5+ years Linux administration and/or Linux development experience, with an industry-recognized administration-level (or higher) certification - 3+ years Kubernetes administration experience, with KCNA (or above) certification - Certification-level fluency in OpenShift, Rancher, or other Kubernetes orchestration environments - Certification-level fluency in cloud IaaS environments (VMware, AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack) - Certification-level fluency with DevOps concepts and hands-on experience with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD pipeline applications - Certification-level fluency in data engineering, big data, and database operations / delivery / operational services - Demonstrable understanding of data platform technologies for highly available business applications (on-prem, hybrid, and cloud) - Demonstrable understanding of the enterprise application development lifecycle and how container platforms impact it - Ability to see and present the “big picture” (thought leadership, solutioning, challenging the status quo for customer outcomes) - Ability to distill complex problems into a simplified vision that drives customer interest - Strong bias for continuous improvement (personally and professionally) - Ability to travel regionally (up to 60%) --- **What You Can Expect From Us** - **Innovation:** Think critically, embrace challenges, and aim to be trailblazers - **Growth:** Space and support to grow and contribute to something meaningful (Fortune’s Best Workplaces in Technology™ and Great Place to Work®) - **Team:** Build each other up and set aside ego for the greater good - Flexible time off, wellness resources, and company-sponsored team events (see **purebenefits.com**) --- **Accommodations & Accessibility** Candidates with disabilities may request accommodations for the hiring process.
