You’ll work with embedded software development, firmware reverse engineering, and low-level system testing—helping map undocumented targets and enable forward development inside an emulation environment. If you’re actively using **Ghidra**, **Python**, and **QEMU** to modify and rehost complex firmware binaries, we’d like to talk. --- ## What You Will Do - Contribute to technical tasks focused on **reverse engineering** and **forward development** of complex wireless and embedded systems - Support government customers by executing **binary and file system analysis** to map undocumented target architectures - Operate under **moderate supervision**, making decisions based on precedent and company policies - Translate reverse engineering insights into functional software to enable **firmware rehosting and expansion** within custom emulation environments --- ## What You Will Need (Basic Qualifications) - **Core Development & Scripting:** Low-level software development in **C/C++** and functional **Python** scripting for automation in **Linux command-line** environments - **Reverse Engineering Tooling:** Experience with light architectural reverse engineering / control-flow analysis using **Ghidra**, **IDA Pro**, or **Binary Ninja** - **Emulation & Rehosting:** Hands-on experience configuring/modifying embedded binaries to support firmware rehosting in **QEMU**-like emulation frameworks - **Security Clearance:** **Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph** required - **Location:** Ability to work on-site daily in the Linthicum, MD / Fort Meade area --- ## Nice to Have (Preferred) - **Automated Reversing scripts:** Experience using **Ghidra API** or **Binary Ninja API** to automate binary/file system analysis - **Hardware Interfaces:** Exposure to hardware debugging tools (e.g., **JTAG**, **SWD**) and/or working with **SDR** frameworks - **Embedded Operating Systems:** Experience developing/compiling for **RTOS** or customized embedded Linux environments - **DevOps & Integration:** Familiarity with DevOps best practices, software protection mechanisms, or binary fuzzing infrastructure --- ## Salary Range (Projected) **$172,766 – $221,801 USD** (annualized; guideline only) --- ## Equal Opportunity / Accessibility Two Six Technologies is an **Equal Opportunity Employer**.
