**Software Engineer - AI Enablement** **About the Role** Scale GP is building a new AI Enablement team to create agent-powered tools that ground AI in real operational workflows. This is a 0→1 team where you'll own full-stack features end-to-end, from design through production deployment. **What You'll Do** • Own full-stack features and projects end-to-end within a larger product area • Develop reliable backend services in TypeScript/Python with distributed systems and data pipelines • Integrate LLMs, vector databases, and agentic frameworks to power intelligent workflows • Ship quickly through tight experimentation loops while maintaining high quality • Work across the stack—from polished frontends to distributed backends to LLM integrations **Ideal Experience** • 3+ years of full-time software engineering experience • Solid full-stack fundamentals with production ownership of shipped features • Familiarity with LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, or modern AI data products • Exposure to distributed systems and cloud-based architectures **What We Value** • Strong product intuition and customer empathy • Entrepreneurial mindset and ownership mentality • Comfort collaborating across engineering, product, data science, and applied AI teams • Excitement about building agentic systems that make AI genuinely useful **Compensation** Base salary range (San Francisco): $180,000 – $225,000 USD Includes equity, comprehensive health/dental/vision, retirement benefits, learning stipend, and generous PTO. **About Scale** Scale develops reliable AI systems for the world's most important decisions.
