**Human Data Manager** **ABOUT THE ROLE:** Ensure engineering teams get high-quality tasks and evaluations by crafting and executing high-value Human Data projects. You'll partner with model teams, design projects that capture meaningful signals, and drive measurement of data impact. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** • Partner with model and engineering teams to understand needs and translate them into high-value data projects • Own end-to-end delivery of critical data and evaluation projects • Measure data effectiveness and quantify impact (data yield, eval lift, usage) • Maintain rigorous data integrity and truthfulness with validation processes • Research and apply techniques for data collection, annotation, and generation • Shape model behavior through targeted data work • Manage plans that shape model behavior via data management and analysis • Act as liaison between engineering, technical staff, and Human Data teams • Collaborate with Human Data Ops to scale projects and share learnings **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:** • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant experience • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams • Demonstrated experience analyzing datasets for trends, anomalies, and quality issues **PREFERRED SKILLS:** • Degree in engineering, computer science, data analysis, or related STEM field • Direct experience curating datasets for LLMs or AI/ML systems • Experience designing annotation workflows prioritizing accuracy and integrity • Familiarity with multimodal data or domain-specific data • Model/dataset evaluation experience • Comfort with AI agents, no/low-code tools, or Python scripting • SQL or data analysis tools experience **ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:** • Weekend work may be required • Travel to other sites may be required **COMPENSATION:** $100,000 - $186,000 USD + equity, medical/vision/dental, 401(k), disability & life insurance
