**Senior Software Engineer, Identity & Access Discovery** **About the Role** Keeper Security is hiring an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the Privileged Access Management team and lead backend development for Discovery capabilities within KeeperPAM. This is a 100% remote position, with hybrid options available for candidates in Chicago, IL or El Dorado Hills, CA. **Key Responsibilities** • Design and develop the Python discovery engine for customer-deployed gateways and Java/Kotlin cloud services • Build systems to discover privileged accounts, service accounts, keys, and machines across Active Directory, cloud IAM, databases, and endpoints • Solve identity correlation and reconciliation challenges • Develop incremental re-scan and state-reconciliation capabilities • Build comprehensive test coverage and diagnostic tooling • Design secure discovery workflows within Keeper's zero-knowledge architecture • Collaborate with Product, QA, and PAM engineers on technical design and delivery **Required Qualifications** • 8+ years of professional software development experience (backend focus) • Strong Python expertise • Proficiency in Java or Kotlin; comfort with TypeScript/React • Experience with distributed systems, APIs, and data-processing pipelines • Hands-on experience with Active Directory and/or LDAP • Working knowledge of AWS IAM, Microsoft Entra ID, or GCP IAM • Strong knowledge of secure software development, authentication, authorization, and encryption • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) • Strong data modeling skills • **U.S. Person status required** (U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident) **Preferred Qualifications** • PAM, identity security, or cybersecurity product experience • Identity/account discovery or infrastructure discovery systems experience • Containerized or cloud-native application development • High-scale enterprise SaaS product experience **Benefits** • Medical, Dental & Vision coverage • Employer-paid Life Insurance • 401(k) (Roth/Traditional) • Generous PTO plan • Above-market annual bonuses **Equal Opportunity Employer** | E-Verify Participant
