## Software Engineer - Live Link **Location:** Greater Seattle area (Hybrid) ### About Truveta Truveta is the world's first health provider-led data platform with a mission to save lives with data. We enable researchers to find cures faster, empower clinicians to be experts, and help families make informed healthcare decisions. ### The Role We're seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and operate backend services powering Truveta's Live Link and Entitlements capabilities. You'll build APIs, distributed services, databases, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure that form the foundation for customer-facing scenarios. This role spans application, data, and infrastructure layers—owning meaningful backend capabilities from design through production operations. ### What You'll Do - Design and build reliable, secure, scalable backend services and APIs - Develop distributed systems, data pipelines, and high-performance data services - Engineer systems for scalability, resilience, observability, performance, security, and maintainability - Build secure services with attention to authentication, authorization, entitlements, and privacy - Own services through design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance - Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Solutions, and engineering teams - Contribute to deployment automation, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure ### Key Qualifications - 2+ years professional software engineering experience with production-quality software - Proficiency in C#, Python, Java, or similar languages with strong data structures/algorithms knowledge - Experience designing, building, and operating backend services and APIs in production - Experience with distributed systems, data pipelines, or large-scale data processing - Knowledge of relational databases and NoSQL data stores - Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and API design - Experience debugging and troubleshooting production systems - **Preferred:** Microsoft Azure experience, containers/Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code ### We're Looking For - Problem-solvers who are collaborative and eager to make a difference in healthcare - Quick learners who iterate while balancing privacy, security, and reliability - Engineers committed to ethical innovation and ongoing training in privacy, ethics, and security
