**Software Engineer, ML Inference Platform** **About Nuro** Nuro is building a universal autonomy platform for self-driving vehicles. Backed by $2B+ in funding from Uber, NVIDIA, Google, Softbank, and others. **About the Role** Join the ML Infrastructure team to design, build, and deploy core infrastructure components for Nuro's autonomy platform. Work across the full ML stack—from robust data pipelines to optimized model deployment on self-driving robots. **Key Responsibilities** • Design and develop ML workflow pipelines for training, optimization, validation, and deployment • Develop continuous testing and monitoring systems for ML infrastructure • Build observability tools to track model lifecycles from data generation to on-road validation • Maintain in-house ML inference platform for large language models • Maintain in-house ML compiler platform for autonomy models across hardware platforms **Required Qualifications** • BS, MS, or Ph.D. with 1+ years of relevant experience • Strong Python proficiency; C++ familiarity • Technical excellence in performance, scalability, and code quality • ML pipeline experience and distributed systems design knowledge • Self-directed learner with ability to master complex systems **Bonus Skills** • Advanced C++ or high-performance low-level language expertise • Large-scale distributed systems experience • System & framework design background • Data workflow orchestration platform experience • ML compiler experience **Compensation** Base pay: $160,360–$240,540 (level-dependent).
