**IT Engineer, IT Operations** **Role Overview** Join our IT Operations team—the group keeping core systems reliable, secure, and continuously improving for a ~1,000-person company. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll build integrations and automations connecting IT and business platforms, maintain critical service availability, and be a dependable technical resource. **Key Responsibilities** • Design and maintain integrations/automations across IT and business systems • Administer and optimize core IT platforms and SaaS applications • Script solutions in Python, Bash, or similar; automate operational processes • Integrate systems via APIs and webhooks with proper error handling • Perform advanced troubleshooting across IT systems, endpoints, and identity • Implement proactive measures for high availability and performance • Contribute to disaster recovery planning and execution • Identify and deliver system/process improvements independently • Create documentation, standards, and runbooks • Partner with engineering, security, and compliance teams • Share knowledge and communicate technical concepts clearly **Required Qualifications** • 3+ years hands-on IT/systems engineering in enterprise environments • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience • Strong API fluency (REST/JSON, OAuth, webhooks) and coding ability (Python, Bash, etc.) • Experience integrating and automating SaaS platforms • Experience with AI/LLM-based automation • Self-starter who works autonomously • Comfortable with ambiguity and unfamiliar systems • Solid systems administration, identity, networking, and endpoint management fundamentals • Excellent written and verbal communication • Pragmatic, iterative delivery mindset **Ideal Qualifications** • MDM solutions experience (Jamf, Intune) and macOS at scale • Modern automation, workflow tooling, and version control familiarity • Monitoring, observability, and resilient service experience • Relevant industry certifications **Compensation & Benefits** U.S. Base: $106,873–$143,724 | Mountain View, CA: $137,582–$170,336 Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, parental leave, unlimited PTO, and more.
