**Software Engineering Manager - Payments** **About the Role** Lead a talented engineering team building and scaling Squarespace's payment ecosystem. You'll drive delivery on key company goals, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide technical leadership for critical initiatives. Partner with Product, Design, and Operations to set technical direction while fostering a culture of ownership and collaboration. **Location:** Hybrid - New York Office **Reports to:** Engineering Director, Financial Solutions Group **What You'll Do** • Lead the engineering team building payments products • Collaborate with Product and Design to create strategies impacting hundreds of thousands of businesses • Work with experienced managers and directors to shape organization, processes, and culture • Mentor engineers to develop expertise in software development and payments **What We're Looking For** • 7+ years in software industry • 3+ years launching payments products • Experience developing and launching FinTech products and infrastructure • Experience coaching engineers with diverse specialties • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders on product compliance • Experience scaling teams and organizations • Experience with Adyen and Stripe platforms (a plus) **Compensation & Benefits** **Cash Compensation:** $185,500 - $299,000 USD • Medical plans with optional 100% covered premiums • Fertility and adoption benefits • Retirement benefits with employer match • Flexible paid time off + 12 weeks paid parental leave • Education reimbursement • Headspace subscription, EAP, commuter benefits • Dog-friendly workplace, free lunch, private rooftop • Hack week twice per year • Stock options eligible **About Squarespace** Design-driven platform empowering millions of entrepreneurs in 200+ countries.
