**Seasonal FAST Video Systems Operator** **Overview** The National Football League Digital Media Group is seeking a highly motivated Seasonal FAST Video Systems Operator for their Digital Media division. This role requires a flexible, punctual, and dependable individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Based in Inglewood, CA (on-site required, no remote work or relocation assistance). **Key Responsibilities** • Support live streaming of games, weekly shows, and tent-pole events • Operate, monitor, and configure software for NFL FAST Channel digital video distribution • Document, escalate, and manage video distribution incidents to resolution • Create and update operational runbooks for live on-air workflows • Setup and operate digital video environment in Digital Master Control (DMC) • Perform quality control and digital ad insertion operations on FAST live games • Setup and maintain electronic programming guide (EPG) metadata • Manage video routes for international game channels • Collaborate on SCTE-35 insertion automation initiatives • Provide live event support during holidays, nights, weekends, and early windows **Required Qualifications** • BS degree and/or equivalent experience • Direct sports broadcast production/operations experience (TV studio, truck, or stadium operations) preferred • Experience monitoring live streaming service health metrics and operational incidents in 24/7 environments • Knowledge of digital protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HLS, SRT, RTMP, SSH • Exceptional attention to detail with ability to follow instructions precisely • SCTE-35 cue insertion execution for live and recorded programming • Strong technical troubleshooting skills for audio/video and playout issues • Effective communicator and team collaborator • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously **Preferred Qualifications** • Minimum 2 years Technical Support experience (IT Service Desk, TOC/NOC Operations) • Knowledge of Content Distribution Networks and 2110 Broadcast Networks • Linux/Windows web server knowledge • Cloud Video Distribution platform experience • Multi-Viewer Systems experience • FAST distribution systems familiarity • Encoding standards knowledge (H.264, AAC, GOP structure, bitrates, aspect ratios) **Work Terms** • Seasonal employment: up to 7 months • On-call position: less than 40 hours/week based on production needs • Must be available for early mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays • Travel: 0-10% • Physical: Ability to lift/carry equipment under 40 lbs **Compensation** $26.00 – $26.50 USD/hour **Benefits** Comprehensive benefits available.
