**Director, Email Deliverability** **About Postscript** Postscript is the AI messaging platform trusted by 20,000+ Shopify brands. Backed by Greylock and Y Combinator, fully remote since 2018. **The Role** Own the strategy, infrastructure, and sender reputation that get our customers' email to the primary inbox. Build Postscript's email deliverability function from the ground up while serving as the trusted deliverability advisor for our brands. **Key Responsibilities** • Design IP pool architecture, domain strategy, and IP/domain warming programs • Establish and enforce authentication standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI) • Monitor sender reputation, inbox placement, and blocklist activity • Serve as senior deliverability expert for brand audits and issue diagnosis • Lead deliverability onboarding for brands migrating to Postscript • Partner with Product and Engineering on platform tooling and infrastructure • Build playbooks, processes, and standards that scale across thousands of senders • Maintain expert knowledge of mailbox provider requirements and industry landscape • Eventually hire and lead a team of deliverability specialists **What We're Looking For** • 8+ years of dedicated email deliverability experience (ESP, CDP, or high-volume sending platform) • Deep technical expertise in email authentication, IP/domain warming, and sender reputation • Hands-on experience diagnosing and remediating blocklist and inbox-placement issues • Fluency with Google Postmaster Tools, Yahoo Sender Hub, and 2024+ bulk-sender requirements • Relationships with mailbox providers or active community participation (M3AAWG, emailgeeks) • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical marketers • Player-coach mindset with strong communication skills • E-commerce/DTC experience strongly preferred **What You'll Love About Us** • Build a function from the ground floor and define how 20,000+ brands reach the inbox • High-growth startup environment with meaningful impact • Fully remote (US or Canada) • Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision insurance • Flexible PTO *Postscript is an equal employment opportunity employer.*
