## Software Engineer in Test **Location:** Cincinnati, OH (Hybrid - 4 days onsite/week) ### Job Summary Join PatientPoint's QA team to test and develop test automation for Android mobile applications. You'll collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA members throughout the product development lifecycle, building robust automated tests using Java and Appium while ensuring quality across our digital health products. ### What You'll Do - Collaborate with Agile teams to define story acceptance criteria for feature and maintenance development - Analyze system requirements and create testing requirements for functional and end-to-end Android scenarios - Build and maintain Page Object Model (POM) and Hybrid Testing Frameworks for CI/CD pipelines - Design and maintain automated test reporting infrastructure for quality visibility - Create and integrate performance and regression tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions - Practice SAFe Agile within SCRUM/Kanban methodology - Contribute to shift-left testing mindset and continuous improvement ### Required Experience - 4+ years professional experience - 3+ years software testing and test automation (mobile/API solutions) - 3+ years working on Agile teams - Hands-on Android test automation with Appium and Java - Page Object Model (POM) design pattern expertise - RESTful API testing experience - Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and test management tools (QMetry, Zephyr) - SQL experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL) - Git version control and Git flow - Requirements gathering, test planning, defect management, and reporting - CI/CD pipeline integration experience - Experience with AI-assisted tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc.) ### Desired Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree - Physical Android device and emulator testing experience - GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD platforms - Jenkins or Maven build environments - AWS or Microsoft Azure experience - Linux, SSH, and shell scripting knowledge - Performance/load testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6) - TMAP and/or ISTQB certification
