**Principal Technical Program Manager, Security** **Position ID:** 29555 **About the Role:** You'll lead complex security programs at scale, partnering with security engineering teams to drive strategic initiatives from planning through delivery. Operating at the intersection of security, engineering, and governance, you'll shape how the Security Governance group operates while keeping multi-team programs moving and unblocked. **Key Responsibilities:** • Serve as embedded TPM for security engineering teams, owning execution of the Security Product Line's most strategically important initiatives • Drive end-to-end delivery of large-scale security programs (detection & response, identity & access, infrastructure security, application security, etc.) • Partner with security engineering leads and product managers to define roadmaps, sequence work, and manage dependencies • Navigate ambiguity and organizational complexity independently, clearing blockers before they become delays • Own portfolio-level KPIs and build reporting connecting program delivery to customer, reliability, and business outcomes • Support SOX compliance for Usage-Based Billing features (near-term priority) • Actively use AI tools to accelerate program planning, documentation, risk analysis, and stakeholder communications **What We're Looking For:** • 12+ years of technical program management experience with security or software engineering teams in SaaS/cloud environments • Deep technical fluency to earn credibility with security engineers and understand the work deeply • Experience leading security programs across multiple domains • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOX, ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, MITRE ATT&CK) • Demonstrated AI fluency—you use AI tools daily and have strong opinions on their role in TPM workflows • Ability to build durable operating systems: program structures, escalation paths, reporting cadences, and tooling • Excellent written and verbal communication skills **Nice to Have:** • Hands-on experience with major platform/infrastructure security initiatives • SaaS architecture and cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS/GCP) • Certifications (PMP, CISM, CISSP, CISA) • Experience with Usage-Based Billing or revenue recognition controls • Proficiency with Asana, GitHub, or similar tools • Experience integrating AI tools into security/engineering workflows **Compensation:** $172,700 – $246,700 USD annual cash compensation *HubSpot values transparency, learning, and authenticity.
