**Software Engineer in Test** Roadie, a UPS company, is seeking a Software Engineer in Test to join our talented team. You'll advance our data science testing and automation capabilities, tackle complex challenges across the software delivery pipeline, and help ensure our data products, models, and insights are accurate, reliable, and ready to scale. **What You'll Do** • Build robust test infrastructure for automated regression testing of data science microservices • Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues across multiple environments • Improve performance, reliability, and stability of automated test suites • Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and high-impact test cases • Review product requirements for alignment with design and quality guidelines • Partner with software engineers and test engineers for end-to-end system testing • Identify, isolate, and document product defects, then verify fixes • Champion quality at every stage of the software development lifecycle **What You Bring** • 3+ years in developer, SDET, or QA automation role • 3+ years coding in Python (or Ruby, Bash, Javascript) • Experience testing APIs and databases • Testing frameworks experience (Pytest preferred) • Monitoring tools (Grafana, NewRelic, or similar) • CI/CD tools (CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or similar) • SQL query writing and analysis • Cloud solutions experience (AWS) • GitHub, JIRA, Postman familiarity • Clean, stable, maintainable code • Strong testing methodologies knowledge • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills • Thrives in fast-paced environments with short release cycles **Bonus** • Performance testing experience • Data Science concepts familiarity • ML model testing experience • Kafka, Groundcover, Sentry, MLFlow experience • Full application development lifecycle understanding **Why Roadie?** • Competitive total rewards package • 100% company-paid health insurance • 401(k) with company match • Tuition & student loan repayment assistance • Remote-first environment • Unlimited PTO • Inclusive family leave policy • Paid Wellness Days • Monthly WFH stipend • Paid sabbatical leave • Technology you need to succeed *Not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
