You’ll help architect and build interconnected systems that run the business, leveraging third-party tools, MCP servers, internal APIs, lightweight web apps, and automated workflows. This is a role for a **Python engineer** who wants to build, deploy, and maintain high-impact, in-house tools and automation. Our team is small, high-trust, and values clarity, maintainability, and getting the details right. **What you’ll do** - Build and maintain **MCP servers** that expose data platform capabilities and enterprise business systems to internal tools and AI workflows in a deterministic way - Build **internal APIs** to enrich the ecosystem of programmatically addressable resources - Build **lightweight web apps and dashboards** using **Streamlit** to support internal processes - Develop **stateful applications** that ensure SOPs of various processes are followed - Develop and maintain **automated workflows and pipelines** in Python - Write clean, well-documented code and contribute to a culture of technical quality **What we’re looking for** **Required** - 2+ years of **Python** experience - 1+ years of **full-stack development** - Strong proficiency in **SQL** and working with **relational databases** - Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally **Nice to have** - Background in **fintech**, **payments**, or **financial services** - Experience building or working with **MCP servers** - Experience designing and building **APIs** (FastAPI or Flask preferred)
