We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. **About the Role** Anthropicís Capacity Engineering team owns the data, tooling, and systems that plan, measure, and maximize utilization of one of the largest and fastest-growing infrastructure fleets in the industry. This role sits on the Demand Planning team and works daily with research engineering, pretraining, inference, compute supply, finance, and external vendors. **Key Responsibilities** • Turn forecasts into per-tranche requirements (shape, interconnect, region, supporting resources, dates) • Qualify tranches for deliverability before contract signature • Track forecast-versus-delivered variance and feed back to Demand Planning • Own the bring-up system of record with explicit state machine criteria • Run a portfolio of bring-ups in parallel across cloud regions, on-prem sites, and neocloud blocks • Drive readiness automation across all capacity systems • Instrument and publish key metrics with executive-level reporting **What You Bring** • Significant experience delivering large-scale infrastructure (cloud regions, accelerator clusters, HPC systems) at multi-region scale or ≥10k accelerators • Technical depth from cluster orchestration and node health through telemetry and planning • SQL and Python proficiency for analysis and reporting • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent engineering track record **Preferred Experience** • Reserved-capacity onboarding or cloud provider capacity commitments • Demand-planning exposure and forecast translation • Data center or colocation delivery experience • Accelerator health, burn-in, or fleet-health SLOs • Infrastructure asset lifecycle services • Hardware generation onboarding into existing systems **Compensation & Logistics** 💰 $320,000 – $405,000 USD annually 📍 Hybrid (minimum 25% office time) 🎓 Bachelor's degree required in relevant technical field ✅ Visa sponsorship available **We encourage applications from all qualified candidates, including those who may not meet every single qualification.**
