About this role
**Infrastructure Capacity Planner, Demand Planning** **About the Role** Anthropicis seeking an Infrastructure Capacity Planner to own medium-range demand forecasting across all resource classes: accelerators, CPU, storage, network, and managed services. You'll support sourcing, purchasing, prioritization, efficiency targets, and workload optimization. **Key Responsibilities** • Build and own multi-resource demand forecasts by chip class, CPU shape, storage tier, egress path, and managed services SKU • Run weekly plan-vs-reality loops to surface unrecorded trades and drive variance to zero • Qualify incoming capacity tranches against forecasts before signature • Partner with Finance and cost-efficiency teams on core cost drivers and savings optimization **What You Bring** • Capacity, demand, or supply planning experience for large-scale technical infrastructure (cloud, HPC, hyperscale, or internal platforms) • Hands-on modeling skills: SQL, Python/pandas, or forecasting/optimization stacks • Deep understanding of data-center resource classes and their forecasting differences • Preference for simple, inspectable models with instrumented error tracking **Preferred Qualifications** • Cloud/neocloud provider experience with reserved capacity or private offers • Accelerator fleet demand planning and roadmap translation • Data center delivery experience (power, space, network, vendor management) • Accelerator health, collective communications, or fleet-health SLO experience • Lifecycle/state-machine services or infrastructure asset systems of record • Hardware generation onboarding experience **Compensation & Details** $320,000 – $405,000 USD annually Bachelor's degree required; hybrid role (25%+ office time) Visa sponsorship available **Learn More** Visit anthropic.com/careers for confirmed openings.
