**Associate Director, IT Infrastructure and Security** **COMPANY OVERVIEW** Disc Medicine is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company committed to discovering, developing, and commercializing novel treatments for patients with serious hematologic diseases. We value collaboration, professional development, and scientific integrity. **POSITION OVERVIEW** Reporting to the Head of Information Technology, you'll be responsible for the strategy, design, implementation, and ongoing operations of our enterprise IT infrastructure and security. This includes Microsoft 365, Amazon Web Services, website infrastructure, and other cloud platforms. You'll drive modernization initiatives and ensure reliability, security, and compliance aligned with pharmaceutical industry standards. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** • Oversee Microsoft 365 environment (IAM, Intune, MS Defender, Purview) • Manage secure endpoint configuration and corporate/BYOD programs • Architect and scale infrastructure and cloud environments • Lead data governance (DLP, sensitivity labels, AI security policies) • Advance Information Security program (SOX, GxP, FDA compliance) • Manage web infrastructure (hosting, DNS, Cloudflare, Github) • Architect cloud-based DevOps environment • Ensure secure home office technology infrastructure • Implement and optimize cloud-based applications • Maintain compliance with corporate policies and regulations **REQUIREMENTS** • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (equivalent experience considered) • 10+ years progressive IT experience in regulated life sciences/biotech/pharma • Cloud infrastructure, digital workplace, and cybersecurity expertise • MSP and vendor management experience • Knowledge of SOX, GxP, FDA, NIST CSF compliance frameworks • Microsoft Azure and modern IT infrastructure expertise • AI-enabled workplace tools familiarity • Strong problem-solving and communication skills **LOCATION & COMPENSATION** Hybrid role (Watertown, MA headquarters) Salary Range: $180,000 – $220,000 USD *Disc Medicine is an equal-opportunity employer offering comprehensive benefits and competitive compensation.*
