**Senior Software Engineer - ML Data Delivery** **About the Company** Torc is a leader in autonomous driving technology since 2007, now part of the Daimler family. We're focused on developing software for automated trucks to transform freight transportation. **The Team** The Pseudo-Labeling team creates high-quality annotations on sensor data (images, point clouds) including 2D/3D bounding boxes, trajectories, lane lines, and segmentations. This role bridges pseudo-labeling data and the online perception team, building systems to select, package, and deliver data for on-demand model training. **What You'll Do** • Design and deploy tooling/pipelines for quality control and issue identification of pseudo-labeled data • Provide statistical support and reporting on pseudo-label quality, coverage, and pipeline health • Support data selection and curation for on-demand model training • Build out the ML data delivery system for online perception teams • Drive pipeline improvement and optimization across the pseudo-labeling stack • Lead projects and mentor less experienced team members • Develop tools, services, and algorithms using disciplined software development processes • Define ingestion, preparation, curation, and governance of large datasets • Evaluate technical advances and make recommendations for productivity improvements **What You'll Need** • Bachelor's in CS/Robotics/EE + 6+ years experience OR Master's + 3+ years experience • Strong software engineering background building data pipelines at scale • Statistical analysis and reporting skills • MLOps experience (MLflow, Weights & Biases, model registry) • Proficiency in Python and data processing (PyArrow, Daft, Pandas) • Experience with distributed frameworks (PyTorch, Lightning, Ray) • Knowledge of offline perception and pseudo-labeling best practices **Bonus**: Large-scale data delivery systems experience, pseudo-labeling background **Benefits** ✓ Competitive compensation with bonus and stock options ✓ 100% paid medical, dental, vision premiums ✓ 401K with 6% employer match ✓ Flexible schedule and generous PTO ✓ AD+D and Life Insurance Torc is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
