**Specialist Solutions Architect - Data Engineering & Warehousing (Financial Services)** **Position ID:** FEQ327R420 **Role Overview** Guide strategic enterprise customers through cloud data engineering transformations. In this customer-facing role, you'll collaborate with Solutions Architects, leveraging hands-on production experience with large-scale data engineering and lakehouse architecture. Help organizations optimize BI/analytics workloads and align technical roadmaps with the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. **Remote:** Yes --- **Impact You'll Have** • **Guide Strategic Implementations** – Provide technical leadership for enterprise big data and data warehousing workloads • **Prove Platform Value** – Architect production-ready pipelines and demonstrate platform power through performance/load testing • **Deep Domain Expertise** – Build expertise in data lake architecture, streaming, automated ingestion, and data observability • **Support Technical Sales** – Partner on complex pre-sales engagements, POCs, workload sizing, and custom architecture designs • **Community & Adoption** – Lead workshops, hackathons, and conference presentations --- **What We're Looking For** • **5+ years** technical experience with deep expertise in: - Data & Software Engineering (Spark Streaming, Kafka, batch ingestion, performance tuning) - Data Applications Engineering (data-driven use cases, predictive analytics) - Data Warehousing & Migration (EDW workloads, query tuning, governance) - Data Observability & Security (telemetry, log ingestion, SIEM tools) • Deep understanding of modern lakehouse architectures (Delta Lake, data modeling) on AWS, Azure, or GCP • Production-level SQL + Python, Scala, or Java • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience • Ability to hit training/delivery milestones within 6 months • Willingness to travel up to 30% • *Preferred:* Pre-sales or post-sales technical consulting experience --- **Compensation & Benefits** **Pay Range:** $180,000 – $247,500 USD Compensation includes eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
