**Director, Product Engineering** Assembly Health is seeking an experienced Director of Product Engineering to lead our software engineering organization through rapid growth, AI innovation, and platform modernization. Reporting to the CTO, you'll oversee engineering execution across multiple product lines, establish modern development practices, and build a high-performing global engineering organization. **What You'll Do** **Engineering Leadership** • Lead all software engineering teams across Assembly's products and internal platforms • Build and mentor engineering managers and senior technical leaders • Create a culture focused on accountability, execution, innovation, and continuous improvement • Recruit, retain, and develop top engineering talent • Manage both domestic and offshore engineering organizations **Product Delivery** • AI-enabled products and automation initiatives • ARC platform • Revenue Cycle technology platforms • HL7 and interoperability solutions • Customer-facing applications • Internal operational systems • Analytics platforms • API development **Software Development Excellence** • Agile delivery, sprint planning, CI/CD, DevSecOps • Automated testing, release management, code quality • Architecture reviews and technical documentation **Technology Modernization** • Cloud modernization and AI platform integration • Automation initiatives and platform scalability • Security improvements and technical debt reduction **Cross-Functional Leadership** Partner with Product Management, Operations, Client Success, Revenue Cycle Operations, Data & Analytics, Infrastructure, Information Security, and Executive Leadership. **Operational Excellence** Develop engineering metrics including sprint velocity, release cadence, defect rates, platform uptime, and delivery predictability. **Requirements** **Required** • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • 15+ years of software engineering experience • 8+ years leading engineering organizations • Experience building AI-enabled products and SaaS platforms • Proven success leading Agile engineering organizations • Experience managing distributed teams • Strong cloud architecture knowledge (Azure preferred) • Enterprise integrations and APIs experience • Excellent executive communication skills **Preferred** • Healthcare technology experience • Revenue Cycle Management experience • AI/ML product development experience • HL7/FHIR integration experience • Microsoft technology stack experience • Experience leading organizations through rapid growth **Compensation** $190,000 – $210,000 USD Eligible employees may participate in company bonus programs.
